      ZBG Type Peripheral Drive Sludge Scraper has been widely used in the water supply & drainage projects and municipal engineering for scrapping and discharge of the sludge in the sedimentation tank. The equipment may include uni-peripheral drive sludge scraper and dual-peripheral drive sludge scraper.

      Type of construction >>>

       ZBG type peripheral drive sludge scraper is mainly composed of flow stabilizer, current collecting device, central support, working bridge (main beam), sludge scrapping mechanism, scum discharge mechanism, drive unit, walking device and electric control cabinet etc;

       The central supports consisting of fixed support, rotary bearing and framework can withstand the axial force, radial force and capsizing moment at the same time. Slip-ring type current collecting device is used comprising current collecting ring and electric brush holder. The scum discharge mechanism consisting of floating scum scrapping board, floating scum rake plate and floating scum hopper can effectively remove the floating scum on the water surface. The working bridge is a big part that connects the central support with the walking end beam with slidewalk and handrail upon it. The lower part of the steel beam is connected to the sludge scrapping mechanism and scum discharge mechanism etc. the equipment is to complete the sludge scrapping and scum discharge operation driven by the walking device.

      The raw water flows upward from the tank bottom and then flows out from the top of the central pier; then the water is distributed by the flow stabilizer to water collection channels around the tank in radiation direction; with the decreasing flow speed in radial direction, the suspended solids contained in raw water will be separated and settled down to the tank bottom. The working bridge works with central support as the center of circle to drive the sludge scrapping mechanism and scum discharge mechanism; driven by the drive unit, it will scrap the sludge to the sludge collection tank at the center of the sedimentation tank and then the sludge is discharged out of the tank by water pressure or pump, while the floating scum on water surface is scrapped by the scum scrapping board to the scum hopper at the same time.
